Super8 creates a timeless warmth and flicker that can't be replicated on digital, in my humble opinion. It's just the best.
I'm Anna — a photographer/videographer, storyteller, and aspiring ski designer based in Lake Tahoe, CA. I grew up in NorCal, competed and coached at Palisades (formerly Squaw Valley), and have had skis on my feet for as long as I can remember.
I took the long road here. Penn for college, management consulting in New York City, then Chief of Staff and Director of Ops at two startups — a robot food delivery company and an audio erotica platform. All of it sharpened how I see systems, people, and stories. None of it could suppress my undying love for the mountains.
I shoot primarily on 35mm film and Super 8 video. I love the grain, the slight unpredictability, and the way the light behaves when you don't fully control it. It makes the final product feel alive.
